Description

A hearty fusion dish combining layers of lasagna noodles with seasoned ground beef, crispy bacon, rich cheese, and a creamy sauce inspired by classic cheeseburgers.


Ingredients

  • 12 lasagna noodles
  • 500g ground beef
  • 200g bacon, cooked and crumbled
  • 1 small onion, diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup cream cheese
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1 cup milk
  • 2 tbsp ketchup
  • 1 tbsp mustard
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 tbsp olive oil


Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 180°C (350°F).
  2. Cook lasagna noodles according to package instructions and set aside.
  3. In a skillet, heat olive oil and sauté onion and garlic until softened.
  4. Add ground beef, cook until browned, then drain excess fat.
  5. Stir in ketchup, mustard, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
  6. In a bowl, combine cream cheese, sour cream, and milk until smooth.
  7. In a baking dish, spread a thin layer of meat mixture.
  8. Add a layer of noodles, followed by meat, bacon, cheese, and cream mixture.
  9. Repeat layers until ingredients are used, finishing with cheese on top.
  10. Bake for 30-35 minutes until bubbly and golden.
  11. Let rest for 10 minutes before serving.

Notes

  • You can add pickles for an extra cheeseburger flavor.
  • Use turkey bacon or plant-based meat for a lighter version.
  • Letting the lasagna rest helps it hold its shape when sliced.
