Description
A hearty fusion dish combining layers of lasagna noodles with seasoned ground beef, crispy bacon, rich cheese, and a creamy sauce inspired by classic cheeseburgers.
Ingredients
- 12 lasagna noodles
- 500g ground beef
- 200g bacon, cooked and crumbled
- 1 small onion, diced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 cup mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup cream cheese
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 1 cup milk
- 2 tbsp ketchup
- 1 tbsp mustard
- 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 tbsp olive oil
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 180°C (350°F).
- Cook lasagna noodles according to package instructions and set aside.
- In a skillet, heat olive oil and sauté onion and garlic until softened.
- Add ground beef, cook until browned, then drain excess fat.
- Stir in ketchup, mustard, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
- In a bowl, combine cream cheese, sour cream, and milk until smooth.
- In a baking dish, spread a thin layer of meat mixture.
- Add a layer of noodles, followed by meat, bacon, cheese, and cream mixture.
- Repeat layers until ingredients are used, finishing with cheese on top.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes until bubbly and golden.
- Let rest for 10 minutes before serving.
Notes
- You can add pickles for an extra cheeseburger flavor.
- Use turkey bacon or plant-based meat for a lighter version.
- Letting the lasagna rest helps it hold its shape when sliced.
