Ingredients
- 500g white fish fillets (cod, haddock, or tilapia), cut into strips
- 1 cup breadcrumbs (panko preferred)
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 eggs, beaten
- 1/2 tsp paprika
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp onion powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 tbsp olive oil or cooking spray
- Lemon wedges for serving
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 200°C (400°F) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Prepare three bowls: one with flour, one with beaten eggs, and one with breadcrumbs mixed with paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
- Dip each fish strip first into flour, then egg, then coat with breadcrumb mixture.
- Place coated fish sticks on the baking sheet in a single layer.
- Lightly drizzle or spray with olive oil.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden and crispy.
- Serve hot with lemon wedges or your favorite dipping sauce.
