Ingredients
- 4 ripe but firm pears, halved and cored
- 1 cup mixed berries (blueberries, raspberries, or strawberries)
- 1/3 cup walnuts, roughly chopped
- 1/2 cup blue cheese, crumbled
- 3 tablespoons honey
- 1 tablespoon olive oil or melted butter
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon (optional)
- Fresh thyme leaves (optional garnish)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and lightly grease a baking dish.
- Arrange pear halves cut-side up in the dish.
- Brush pears lightly with olive oil or melted butter.
- Sprinkle with cinnamon if using.
- Fill the center of each pear half with mixed berries and chopped walnuts.
- Bake for 20–25 minutes until pears are tender but still hold their shape.
- Remove from oven and immediately sprinkle crumbled blue cheese over warm pears.
- Drizzle generously with honey.
- Garnish with fresh thyme if desired and serve warm.
