Description

Big Mac Tacos combine the flavors of a classic cheeseburger with the fun of a crispy taco. Seasoned ground beef, melted cheese, shredded lettuce, pickles, and special sauce come together in a quick and delicious meal.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 8 small flour tortillas
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup shredded iceberg lettuce
  • 1/2 cup sliced dill pickles
  • 1/4 cup finely diced onion
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 tbsp ketchup
  • 1 tbsp yellow mustard
  • 1 tbsp finely chopped pickles (for sauce)
  • 1 tsp white vinegar
  • 1 tsp paprika

Instructions

  1. In a small bowl, mix mayonnaise, ketchup, mustard, chopped pickles, vinegar, and paprika to make the special sauce. Set aside.
  2. Season ground beef with salt, pepper, and garlic powder. Divide into 8 portions.
  3. Press each portion thinly onto one side of a tortilla, covering most of the surface.
  4. Heat a skillet over medium-high heat. Place tortilla beef-side down and cook for 2-3 minutes until beef is browned.
  5. Flip and cook tortilla side for 1-2 minutes until lightly crispy.
  6. Sprinkle shredded cheese over the beef while hot so it melts.
  7. Remove from heat and top with lettuce, pickles, diced onion, and drizzle with special sauce.
  8. Fold in half like a taco and serve immediately.

Notes

  • Cook beef side first to create a crispy smash-style texture.
  • Use American cheese slices for a more classic flavor.
  • Serve immediately for best texture.
  • Can substitute ground turkey if preferred.
