Description
A crispy, griddle-cooked quesadilla packed with juicy cheeseburger filling, melty cheese, and classic burger flavors, made perfectly on a Blackstone or flat-top grill.
Ingredients
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella or Monterey Jack cheese
- 4 large flour tortillas
- 2 tablespoons butter or oil for grilling
- Optional toppings: diced pickles, cooked bacon bits, diced onions
- Optional sauce: burger sauce or ketchup & mustard mix
Instructions
- Preheat the Blackstone or flat-top griddle to medium-high heat.
- Cook ground beef on the griddle, breaking it up and seasoning with salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and Worcestershire sauce.
- Once beef is fully cooked, remove from heat and set aside.
- Lay tortillas on the griddle and lightly butter one side.
- On half of each tortilla, add cooked beef, shredded cheeses, and optional toppings.
- Fold tortillas over to form quesadillas.
- Cook until tortillas are golden brown and cheese is melted, flipping once.
- Remove from griddle, slice, and serve hot with dipping sauce.
Notes
- Use smash-style beef for extra flavor.
- American cheese can be substituted for extra meltiness.
