Ingredients

  • 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 3/4 cup packed brown sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 1 1/2 cups crushed Butterfinger candy bars
  • 3/4 cup caramel bits
  • 1 cup toffee bits or chopped nuts (optional)


Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line baking sheets with parchment paper.
  2. In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt. Set aside.
  3. In a large bowl, beat butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and creamy.
  4. Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition, then mix in vanilla extract.
  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture until fully combined.
  6. Stir in crushed Butterfingers, caramel bits, and toffee or nuts (if using).
  7. Scoop tablespoon-sized portions of dough onto the prepared baking sheets, spacing them about 2 inches apart.
  8. Bake for 10–12 minutes or until the edges are golden brown and centers are set.
  9. Let cookies cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
