Description

Sweet and flaky caramel apple pie bombs made with tender biscuit dough, spiced apples, and gooey caramel—baked until golden and perfect for an easy dessert or snack.

Ingredients

  • 1 can (16.3 oz) refrigerated biscuit dough
  • 1 cup apple pie filling, finely chopped
  • 12 soft caramel candies
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1/3 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp ground nutmeg

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Separate biscuit dough and flatten each biscuit into a 4-inch circle.
  3. Place about 1 tablespoon of chopped apple pie filling in the center of each dough circle.
  4. Add one caramel candy on top of the apples.
  5. Carefully wrap the dough around the filling, pinching seams tightly to seal.
  6. Dip each sealed bomb into melted butter.
  7. In a small bowl, mix sugar, cinnamon, and nutmeg, then roll each bomb in the mixture.
  8. Place seam-side down on the prepared baking sheet.
  9. Bake for 12–15 minutes until golden brown.
  10. Cool slightly before serving.

Notes

  • Seal the dough well to prevent caramel from leaking.
  • Serve warm for the best gooey center.
  • You can drizzle with extra caramel sauce before serving.
  • Best enjoyed fresh but can be reheated briefly.
