Description
Sweet and flaky caramel apple pie bombs made with tender biscuit dough, spiced apples, and gooey caramel—baked until golden and perfect for an easy dessert or snack.
Ingredients
- 1 can (16.3 oz) refrigerated biscuit dough
- 1 cup apple pie filling, finely chopped
- 12 soft caramel candies
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1/3 cup granulated sugar
- 1 tsp ground cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp ground nutmeg
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Separate biscuit dough and flatten each biscuit into a 4-inch circle.
- Place about 1 tablespoon of chopped apple pie filling in the center of each dough circle.
- Add one caramel candy on top of the apples.
- Carefully wrap the dough around the filling, pinching seams tightly to seal.
- Dip each sealed bomb into melted butter.
- In a small bowl, mix sugar, cinnamon, and nutmeg, then roll each bomb in the mixture.
- Place seam-side down on the prepared baking sheet.
- Bake for 12–15 minutes until golden brown.
- Cool slightly before serving.
Notes
- Seal the dough well to prevent caramel from leaking.
- Serve warm for the best gooey center.
- You can drizzle with extra caramel sauce before serving.
- Best enjoyed fresh but can be reheated briefly.
