Description

Cheeseburger Egg Rolls are crispy, golden wrappers filled with seasoned ground beef, melted cheese, and classic burger flavors, making a fun and delicious appetizer or party snack.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/4 cup diced onion
  • 1/4 cup diced pickles
  • 2 tablespoons ketchup
  • 1 tablespoon mustard
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 12 egg roll wrappers
  • 1 egg, beaten (for sealing)
  • Vegetable oil, for frying

Instructions

  1. In a skillet over medium heat, cook ground beef and diced onion until beef is browned and fully cooked. Drain excess grease.
  2. Stir in garlic powder, salt, pepper, ketchup, and mustard. Remove from heat and let cool slightly.
  3. Once slightly cooled, mix in shredded cheddar cheese and diced pickles.
  4. Lay an egg roll wrapper on a clean surface in a diamond shape. Place 2–3 tablespoons of filling in the center.
  5. Fold the bottom corner over the filling, then fold in the sides. Roll tightly and seal the top corner with beaten egg. Repeat with remaining wrappers.
  6. Heat vegetable oil in a deep pan to 350°F (175°C).
  7. Fry egg rolls in batches for 3–4 minutes or until golden brown and crispy. Remove and drain on paper towels.
  8. Serve warm with extra ketchup, mustard, or burger sauce for dipping.

Notes

  • Make sure the filling is not too hot before assembling to prevent tearing the wrappers.
  • You can air-fry at 375°F for 8–10 minutes, flipping halfway through.
  • Add cooked bacon bits for extra flavor.
  • Freeze assembled egg rolls before frying for easier handling.
