Description
Cheeseburger Sliders are juicy, bite-sized burgers baked with seasoned ground beef, melted cheese, and soft slider buns, then brushed with a buttery topping. Perfect for parties, game days, or quick family dinners.
Ingredients
- 2 lbs ground beef (80/20)
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 12 slider buns (Hawaiian rolls or dinner rolls)
- 8 slices cheddar cheese (or 1 1/2 cups shredded cheddar)
- 1/4 cup diced onions (optional)
- 2 tablespoons butter, melted
- 1 tablespoon sesame seeds (optional)
- Pickles, ketchup, and mustard for serving (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a 9×13-inch baking dish with parchment paper.
- In a bowl, mix ground beef with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder.
- Press the beef evenly into the prepared baking dish to form one large patty.
- Bake for 20–25 minutes, or until fully cooked (internal temperature 160°F). Drain excess grease.
- Without separating the buns, slice the slider rolls horizontally. Place the bottom half in a clean baking dish.
- Transfer the cooked beef patty onto the bottom buns. Top evenly with cheese and diced onions.
- Place the top buns over the cheese. Brush melted butter over the tops and sprinkle with sesame seeds.
- Bake for an additional 10 minutes, or until cheese is melted and buns are lightly golden.
- Remove from oven, slice into individual sliders, and serve with desired toppings.
Notes
- Swap cheddar for American, provolone, or pepper jack cheese.
- For extra flavor, mix 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce into the beef.
- Sliders can be assembled ahead of time and baked just before serving.
- Store leftovers in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
