Description

A rich and comforting Cheesy Chicken Alfredo Bake made with tender pasta, creamy Alfredo sauce, juicy chicken, and plenty of melted cheese.


Ingredients

  • 12 oz penne pasta
  • 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded or cubed
  • 2 cups Alfredo sauce (store-bought or homemade)
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup Parmesan cheese, grated
  • 2 cups mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1/2 tsp Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (optional for garnish)


Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
  2. Cook the pasta according to package directions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  3. In a skillet, heat olive oil and sauté garlic for 1 minute.
  4. Add Alfredo sauce, heavy cream, Parmesan cheese, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Stir until smooth and heated through.
  5. Add the cooked chicken to the sauce and combine.
  6. Mix the sauce with the cooked pasta, then pour the mixture into the prepared baking dish.
  7. Top with shredded mozzarella cheese.
  8. Bake for 20–25 minutes or until the cheese is melted and lightly golden.
  9. Garnish with parsley before serving if desired.
