Description
A rich and comforting Cheesy Chicken Alfredo Bake made with tender pasta, creamy Alfredo sauce, juicy chicken, and plenty of melted cheese.
Ingredients
- 12 oz penne pasta
- 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded or cubed
- 2 cups Alfredo sauce (store-bought or homemade)
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup Parmesan cheese, grated
- 2 cups mozzarella cheese, shredded
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1/2 tsp Italian seasoning
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped (optional for garnish)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
- Cook the pasta according to package directions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- In a skillet, heat olive oil and sauté garlic for 1 minute.
- Add Alfredo sauce, heavy cream, Parmesan cheese, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Stir until smooth and heated through.
- Add the cooked chicken to the sauce and combine.
- Mix the sauce with the cooked pasta, then pour the mixture into the prepared baking dish.
- Top with shredded mozzarella cheese.
- Bake for 20–25 minutes or until the cheese is melted and lightly golden.
- Garnish with parsley before serving if desired.
Notes
- Use rotisserie chicken for faster prep.
- Add steamed broccoli or spinach for extra veggies.
- Use a blend of Italian cheeses for even more flavor.
