Ingredients
- 1 lb pizza dough
- 1 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup sliced pepperoni
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- Marinara sauce, for dipping
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Roll pizza dough into a large rectangle on a lightly floured surface.
- Sprinkle mozzarella cheese evenly over the dough, leaving a 1-inch border.
- Layer pepperoni evenly over the cheese.
- Sprinkle Parmesan cheese, Italian seasoning, and garlic powder on top.
- Roll the dough tightly lengthwise into a log and pinch seams to seal.
- Place stromboli seam-side down on the baking sheet.
- Brush with olive oil and egg wash.
- Cut a few slits on top to allow steam to escape.
- Bake for 25–30 minutes until golden brown.
- Cool for 5 minutes, slice, and serve with marinara sauce.
