Description
A hearty comfort dish combining tender roasted potatoes, smoky sausage, melted cheese, and classic ranch seasoning.
Ingredients
- 1 1/2 lbs potatoes, diced
- 12 oz smoked sausage, sliced
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 packet ranch seasoning mix
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 1/4 tsp paprika (optional)
- 2 tbsp chopped green onions (optional garnish)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Grease a baking dish or line a sheet pan with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl, toss diced potatoes with olive oil, ranch seasoning, pepper, and paprika if using.
- Spread potatoes onto the baking sheet and bake for 20 minutes.
- Remove from the oven, add sliced smoked sausage, and stir to combine.
- Return to the oven and bake an additional 15–20 minutes, or until potatoes are tender.
- Sprinkle cheddar and mozzarella cheeses over the top and bake for 5 minutes, or until melted.
- Garnish with green onions and serve warm.
Notes
- Use baby potatoes for quicker prep and even cooking.
- Swap cheddar for pepper jack for a spicier version.
- Leftovers reheat well in an air fryer or oven.
