Description

A hearty comfort dish combining tender roasted potatoes, smoky sausage, melted cheese, and classic ranch seasoning.


Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 lbs potatoes, diced
  • 12 oz smoked sausage, sliced
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 packet ranch seasoning mix
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1/4 tsp paprika (optional)
  • 2 tbsp chopped green onions (optional garnish)


Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Grease a baking dish or line a sheet pan with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, toss diced potatoes with olive oil, ranch seasoning, pepper, and paprika if using.
  3. Spread potatoes onto the baking sheet and bake for 20 minutes.
  4. Remove from the oven, add sliced smoked sausage, and stir to combine.
  5. Return to the oven and bake an additional 15–20 minutes, or until potatoes are tender.
  6. Sprinkle cheddar and mozzarella cheeses over the top and bake for 5 minutes, or until melted.
  7. Garnish with green onions and serve warm.

Notes

  • Use baby potatoes for quicker prep and even cooking.
  • Swap cheddar for pepper jack for a spicier version.
  • Leftovers reheat well in an air fryer or oven.
