Description

Chicken Stuffed Crescent Rolls are flaky, golden pastries filled with a creamy chicken mixture and baked until perfectly crisp. They make an easy weeknight dinner, appetizer, or snack that the whole family will love.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups cooked chicken breast, shredded
  • 1 package (8 oz) cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/4 cup green onions, finely chopped
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 cans (8 oz each) refrigerated crescent roll dough
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried parsley (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a bowl, combine shredded chicken, cream cheese, cheddar cheese, green onions, garlic powder, and black pepper. Mix until well combined.
  3. Unroll crescent dough and separate into triangles.
  4. Place a spoonful of the chicken mixture onto the wide end of each triangle.
  5. Roll up from the wide end toward the tip, tucking in sides to seal.
  6. Place rolls seam-side down on the prepared baking sheet.
  7. Brush tops with melted butter and sprinkle with dried parsley if desired.
  8. Bake for 12–15 minutes, or until golden brown and cooked through.
  9. Allow to cool slightly before serving.

Notes

  • Use rotisserie chicken for convenience.
  • Add cooked bacon bits for extra flavor.
  • Ensure filling is not overfilled to prevent leaking.
  • Store leftovers in the refrigerator for up to 3 days and reheat in the oven for best texture.
