Ingredients
- 2 cups cooked chicken breast, shredded
- 1 package (8 oz) cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/4 cup green onions, finely chopped
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 2 cans (8 oz each) refrigerated crescent roll dough
- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
- 1/2 teaspoon dried parsley (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a bowl, combine shredded chicken, cream cheese, cheddar cheese, green onions, garlic powder, and black pepper. Mix until well combined.
- Unroll crescent dough and separate into triangles.
- Place a spoonful of the chicken mixture onto the wide end of each triangle.
- Roll up from the wide end toward the tip, tucking in sides to seal.
- Place rolls seam-side down on the prepared baking sheet.
- Brush tops with melted butter and sprinkle with dried parsley if desired.
- Bake for 12–15 minutes, or until golden brown and cooked through.
- Allow to cool slightly before serving.
Notes
- Use rotisserie chicken for convenience.
- Add cooked bacon bits for extra flavor.
- Ensure filling is not overfilled to prevent leaking.
- Store leftovers in the refrigerator for up to 3 days and reheat in the oven for best texture.
