Description

Ingredients

  • 1 box chocolate cake mix (plus ingredients listed on box)
  • 1 box (3.9 oz) instant chocolate pudding mix
  • 2 cups cold milk
  • 1 1/2 cups whipped topping
  • Chocolate chips, chocolate syrup, or cocoa powder for topping


Instructions

  1. Prepare chocolate cake according to package instructions and bake in a 9×13-inch pan.
  2. Once removed from oven, use the handle of a wooden spoon to poke holes all over the cake.
  3. Mix pudding with cold milk until slightly thickened.
  4. Pour pudding mixture evenly over the warm cake, allowing it to seep into the holes.
  5. Refrigerate for 1–2 hours until fully set.
  6. Spread whipped topping over the cake.
  7. Garnish with chocolate chips or drizzle with chocolate syrup.
  8. Serve chilled.
