- Brownie Layers:
- 1 box brownie mix (plus ingredients on box)
- OR 2 homemade 9×9 pans of brownies

- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 cup whipped topping

- Chocolate Mousse Layer:
- 1 box (3.9 oz) instant chocolate pudding mix
- 1 1/2 cups cold milk
- 1 cup whipped topping
- Topping:
- 2 cups whipped topping
- Chocolate shavings or mini chocolate chips (optional)
Instructions
- Prepare two thin brownie layers by baking brownies in two 9×9 pans. Cool completely and remove from pans.
- Make cheesecake layer: beat cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla until smooth. Fold in whipped topping.
- Make chocolate mousse: whisk pudding mix with cold milk until thick, then fold in whipped topping.
- Place the first brownie layer in a 9×13 dish.
- Spread the cheesecake layer evenly over the brownie.
- Top with the chocolate mousse layer.
- Place the second brownie layer on top.
- Spread final layer of whipped topping and garnish with chocolate chips or chocolate shavings.
- Refrigerate at least 4 hours (overnight best) before slicing.
