An easy, classic cheese ball recipe made with creamy cheeses, herbs, and seasonings, coated in crunchy nuts—perfect for parties, holidays, or quick appetizers.
Ingredients
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 tbsp green onions, finely chopped
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp onion powder
- 1/4 tsp smoked paprika (optional)
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- 1 cup chopped pecans or walnuts (for coating)
- Crackers or veggies for serving
Instructions
- In a mixing bowl, combine cream cheese, cheddar cheese, Parmesan, green onions, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
- Mix until smooth and well combined.
- Shape the mixture into a ball using your hands or plastic wrap.
- Place chopped nuts on a plate and roll the cheese ball in the nuts until fully coated.
- Refrigerate for at least 1 hour to firm up before serving.
- Serve with crackers, pretzels, or fresh vegetables.

- For a festive look, coat with dried cranberries and parsley instead of nuts.
