Description
Garlic Parmesan Chicken Skewers are juicy, grilled chicken bites coated in a buttery garlic-Parmesan glaze. These tender and flavorful skewers are easy to make, perfect for BBQs, weeknight dinners, or party appetizers — a delicious blend of savory, cheesy, and garlicky goodness.
Ingredients
- 1 1/2 lbs boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into 1-inch cubes
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning
- 2 tbsp unsalted butter
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/3 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 tbsp chopped fresh parsley
- 1 tbsp lemon juice (optional)
- Wooden or metal skewers (if wooden, soak for 20 minutes before grilling)
Instructions
- Preheat grill or grill pan to medium-high heat.
- In a large bowl, combine chicken cubes, olive oil, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and Italian seasoning. Toss to coat evenly.
- Thread chicken onto skewers, leaving a small space between each piece for even cooking.
- Grill skewers for 8–10 minutes, turning occasionally, until chicken is cooked through and slightly charred. (Internal temperature should reach 165°F / 74°C.)
- Meanwhile, in a small saucepan, melt butter over medium heat. Add minced garlic and cook for 1 minute until fragrant. Remove from heat and stir in Parmesan cheese, parsley, and lemon juice if using.
- Brush the garlic-Parmesan butter over the hot chicken skewers immediately after grilling.
- Serve warm with extra grated Parmesan and parsley sprinkled on top.
Notes
- These skewers can also be cooked in an oven at 400°F (200°C) for 18–20 minutes, turning halfway through.
- For extra flavor, marinate the chicken for at least 30 minutes before grilling.
- Serve with garlic bread, rice, or a side salad for a complete meal.
