Description

Gooey Brownie Pie is a rich, decadent dessert with a fudgy brownie center baked inside a buttery pie crust—perfect for chocolate lovers and best served warm with vanilla ice cream.

Ingredients

  • 1 unbaked 9-inch pie crust
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/3 cup cocoa powder
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 cup chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Place pie crust into a 9-inch pie dish.
  2. In a mixing bowl, whisk melted butter and sugar together until smooth.
  3. Add eggs and vanilla; whisk until fully combined.
  4. Stir in cocoa powder, flour, and salt until a thick batter forms.
  5. Fold in chocolate chips.
  6. Pour brownie batter into the pie crust and spread evenly.
  7. Bake for 40–50 minutes, or until edges are set but the center remains slightly gooey.
  8. Cool for at least 20 minutes before slicing.

Notes

  • Serve warm with vanilla ice cream for the ultimate treat.
  • Bake longer for a firmer brownie or slightly less for extra gooey texture.
  • Add walnuts or pecans for crunch.
