Description

Gooey Chocolate Chip Cookie Pie is a warm, rich dessert with a soft, gooey cookie center baked inside a pie crust—like a giant, molten chocolate chip cookie served by the slice.

Ingredients

  • 1 unbaked 9-inch pie crust
  • 1 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 cup chocolate chips (plus extra for topping)
  • 1/2 cup chopped nuts (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Place pie crust in a 9-inch pie dish.
  2. In a mixing bowl, whisk melted butter with granulated and brown sugar until smooth.
  3. Add eggs and vanilla; mix until combined.
  4. Stir in flour and salt until a thick batter forms.
  5. Fold in chocolate chips and nuts if using.
  6. Pour batter into the pie crust and smooth the top. Add extra chocolate chips on top.
  7. Bake for 45–55 minutes, or until the top is golden and the center is still slightly gooey.
  8. Cool for at least 20 minutes before slicing.

Notes

  • Serve warm with ice cream for the ultimate dessert.
  • Bake slightly longer for a firmer pie, or less for extra gooey texture.
  • Use different chips—peanut butter, caramel, or white chocolate—for variety.
