Description
Gooey Chocolate Chip Cookie Pie is a warm, rich dessert with a soft, gooey cookie center baked inside a pie crust—like a giant, molten chocolate chip cookie served by the slice.
Ingredients
- 1 unbaked 9-inch pie crust
- 1 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 cup chocolate chips (plus extra for topping)
- 1/2 cup chopped nuts (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Place pie crust in a 9-inch pie dish.
- In a mixing bowl, whisk melted butter with granulated and brown sugar until smooth.
- Add eggs and vanilla; mix until combined.
- Stir in flour and salt until a thick batter forms.
- Fold in chocolate chips and nuts if using.
- Pour batter into the pie crust and smooth the top. Add extra chocolate chips on top.
- Bake for 45–55 minutes, or until the top is golden and the center is still slightly gooey.
- Cool for at least 20 minutes before slicing.
Notes
- Serve warm with ice cream for the ultimate dessert.
- Bake slightly longer for a firmer pie, or less for extra gooey texture.
- Use different chips—peanut butter, caramel, or white chocolate—for variety.
