Description

Fresh and flavorful honey sesame chicken salad wraps made with tender chicken, crisp vegetables, and a sweet savory honey-sesame dressing, all wrapped in soft tortillas for a quick and satisfying meal.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups cooked chicken breast, shredded or diced
  • 4 large flour tortillas or wraps
  • 1 cup shredded lettuce
  • 1/2 cup shredded carrots
  • 1/2 cup sliced cucumbers
  • 1/4 cup chopped green onions
  • 2 tablespoons sesame seeds
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • 1 teaspoon rice vinegar
  • 1/2 teaspoon grated ginger
  • Salt and black pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, whisk together mayonnaise, honey, soy sauce, sesame oil, rice vinegar, and grated ginger to make the honey sesame dressing.
  2. Add the shredded chicken to the bowl and mix well so the chicken is evenly coated with the dressing.
  3. Stir in sesame seeds and chopped green onions.
  4. Lay each tortilla flat and add a layer of shredded lettuce in the center.
  5. Top with the honey sesame chicken mixture.
  6. Add shredded carrots and sliced cucumbers.
  7. Fold the sides of the tortilla inward and roll tightly into a wrap.
  8. Slice in half if desired and serve immediately.

Notes

  • Rotisserie chicken works great for a quick preparation.
  • You can substitute Greek yogurt for mayonnaise for a lighter option.
  • Add avocado slices for extra creaminess.
  • These wraps can also be served in lettuce cups for a low-carb version.
