Description

A rich and indulgent dessert combining a fudgy brownie base, creamy cheesecake layer, and warm hot fudge topping, finished like a classic ice cream sundae in cheesecake form.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 2 cups granulated sugar
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 cup cocoa powder
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 16 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1 cup hot fudge sauce
  • Whipped cream, for topping
  • Maraschino cherries, for garnish


Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9-inch springform pan.
  2. In a bowl, mix melted butter and granulated sugar until combined. Add eggs one at a time, then stir in cocoa powder, flour, salt, and vanilla.
  3. Spread brownie batter evenly into the prepared pan and bake for 20 minutes.
  4. While brownie bakes, beat cream cheese and powdered sugar until smooth, then mix in sour cream.
  5. Remove brownie from oven, pour cheesecake mixture over partially baked brownie, and smooth the top.
  6. Bake for an additional 35–40 minutes until center is set.
  7. Cool completely, then refrigerate for at least 4 hours.
  8. Before serving, warm hot fudge sauce and pour over cheesecake. Top with whipped cream and cherries.
