Description

Low-Carb Pizza Casserole is a cheesy, hearty dish that delivers all the flavors of classic pizza without the crust—packed with seasoned meat, vegetables, marinara sauce, and plenty of melted cheese.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef or Italian sausage
  • 1/2 cup chopped onions
  • 1 cup sliced mushrooms
  • 1 cup sliced bell peppers
  • 1 cup low-carb marinara sauce
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 1 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup pepperoni slices


Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a baking dish.
  2. In a skillet, cook ground beef or sausage with onions until browned; drain excess fat.
  3. Add mushrooms and bell peppers; cook until softened.
  4. Stir in marinara sauce, Italian seasoning, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
  5. Transfer mixture to the baking dish and top with mozzarella cheese and pepperoni slices.
  6. Bake for 20–25 minutes or until cheese is melted and bubbly.
  7. Let cool slightly before serving.
