Ingredients
- 8 oz (225 g) pasta of choice
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 cups vegetable broth
- 1 cup milk or cream
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 tbsp butter
- 1/2 tsp salt (to taste)
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 1/4 tsp chili flakes (optional)
- Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Heat olive oil in a pot over medium heat and sauté garlic until fragrant.
- Add pasta, vegetable broth, and milk/cream to the pot and stir.
- Bring to a simmer and cook uncovered, stirring occasionally, until pasta is tender and liquid has reduced into a creamy sauce.
- Stir in butter and Parmesan cheese until melted and smooth.
- Season with salt, pepper, and chili flakes.
- Garnish with fresh parsley and serve warm.
