Description
Peanut Butter Cup Dump Cake is a rich, gooey dessert made with layers of chocolate cake mix, creamy peanut butter, and chunks of peanut butter cups baked together into an easy, decadent treat with minimal prep.
Ingredients
- 1 box (15.25 oz) chocolate cake mix
- 1 cup creamy peanut butter
- 1/2 cup melted unsalted butter
- 1 cup whole milk
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 1/2 cups chopped peanut butter cups
- 1/2 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
- Spread peanut butter evenly across the bottom of the prepared baking dish.
- In a mixing bowl, combine cake mix, milk, eggs, melted butter, vanilla extract, and salt. Stir until just combined.
- Pour the batter evenly over the peanut butter layer without mixing.
- Sprinkle chopped peanut butter cups and chocolate chips evenly over the top.
- Bake for 35–40 minutes or until the center is set and the top is slightly crisp.
- Allow to cool for at least 10–15 minutes before serving. Serve warm for a gooey texture.
Notes
- For extra richness, drizzle melted peanut butter over the top before serving.
- Serve with vanilla ice cream or whipped cream.
- Store leftovers covered at room temperature for up to 2 days or refrigerate for up to 5 days.
- You can use crunchy peanut butter for added texture.
