Description

Peanut Butter Cup Dump Cake is a rich, gooey dessert made with layers of chocolate cake mix, creamy peanut butter, and chunks of peanut butter cups baked together into an easy, decadent treat with minimal prep.

Ingredients

  • 1 box (15.25 oz) chocolate cake mix
  • 1 cup creamy peanut butter
  • 1/2 cup melted unsalted butter
  • 1 cup whole milk
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 1/2 cups chopped peanut butter cups
  • 1/2 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
  2. Spread peanut butter evenly across the bottom of the prepared baking dish.
  3. In a mixing bowl, combine cake mix, milk, eggs, melted butter, vanilla extract, and salt. Stir until just combined.
  4. Pour the batter evenly over the peanut butter layer without mixing.
  5. Sprinkle chopped peanut butter cups and chocolate chips evenly over the top.
  6. Bake for 35–40 minutes or until the center is set and the top is slightly crisp.
  7. Allow to cool for at least 10–15 minutes before serving. Serve warm for a gooey texture.

Notes

  • For extra richness, drizzle melted peanut butter over the top before serving.
  • Serve with vanilla ice cream or whipped cream.
  • Store leftovers covered at room temperature for up to 2 days or refrigerate for up to 5 days.
  • You can use crunchy peanut butter for added texture.
