Description
A festive twist on the classic espresso martini, infused with refreshing peppermint and rich coffee flavor.
Ingredients
- 2 oz vodka
- 1 oz coffee liqueur (such as Kahlúa)
- 1 oz freshly brewed espresso, cooled
- 1/2 oz peppermint schnapps
- Ice
- Crushed candy cane, for rim (optional)
- Whipped cream or coffee beans, for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- If desired, rim the martini glass with crushed candy cane by dipping the rim in simple syrup then crushed candy.
- Add vodka, coffee liqueur, espresso, and peppermint schnapps to a shaker filled with ice.
- Shake vigorously for 15–20 seconds until well chilled and frothy.
- Strain into a chilled martini glass.
- Garnish with whipped cream or coffee beans, if desired.
Notes
- Use freshly brewed espresso for the best crema.
- Adjust peppermint schnapps to taste if you prefer a stronger or lighter mint flavor.
- Chill your martini glasses ahead of time for an even smoother drink.
