Description
Pepperoni Pizza Rollups are an easy and fun snack made with pizza dough rolled up with pepperoni, cheese, and marinara sauce, then baked until golden and melty.
Ingredients
- 1 can refrigerated pizza dough
- 1/2 cup marinara or pizza sauce
- 1 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- 20–24 slices pepperoni
- 1/2 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- Optional: grated Parmesan cheese for topping
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Unroll the pizza dough onto a lightly floured surface and gently stretch into a rectangle.
- Spread marinara sauce evenly over the dough, leaving a small border around the edges.
- Sprinkle mozzarella cheese evenly over the sauce.
- Arrange pepperoni slices over the cheese and sprinkle with Italian seasoning.
- Roll the dough tightly from the long side into a log.
- Slice into 1-inch pieces and place cut-side up on the baking sheet.
- Brush tops lightly with olive oil and sprinkle with Parmesan if desired.
- Bake for 15–18 minutes until golden brown and bubbly.
- Cool slightly and serve warm with extra marinara for dipping.
Notes
- Do not overfill to prevent rollups from unraveling.
- Use turkey pepperoni for a lighter option.
