Description
Pizza Chips are a fun, crispy, and cheesy snack that tastes just like pizza — without the crust! Made with melted cheese, pepperoni, and Italian herbs, these low-carb bites are perfect for parties, game nights, or quick snacking when you’re craving pizza flavor in a crunchable form.
Ingredients
- 1 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/4 cup shredded Parmesan cheese
- 1/2 tsp Italian seasoning
- 1/4 tsp garlic powder
- 1/4 tsp crushed red pepper flakes (optional)
- 16 mini pepperoni slices (or 8 regular, cut in half)
- Pizza sauce, for dipping (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or a silicone baking mat.
- In a small bowl, mix mozzarella, Parmesan, Italian seasoning, and garlic powder together.
- Drop about 1 tablespoon of the cheese mixture onto the prepared baking sheet, spacing each mound about 2 inches apart. Flatten slightly with the back of a spoon.
- Top each mound with a slice of pepperoni and sprinkle lightly with crushed red pepper flakes if desired.
- Bake for 6–8 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown and crisp.
- Let the chips cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes — they’ll firm up as they cool.
- Serve with warm pizza sauce for dipping, or enjoy plain as a crunchy snack.
Notes
- For variety, try adding small bits of bell pepper, black olives, or cooked sausage before baking.
- Use pre-sliced cheese sticks for quick prep — just cut into rounds.
- Store cooled chips in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 2 days (they’ll stay crisp).
