- 1/3 cup breadcrumbs
- 1 egg
- 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 2 tbsp olive oil (for searing)
- For the Gravy:

- 1 cup sliced mushrooms
- 2 tbsp butter
- 2 tbsp flour
- 2 cups beef broth
- 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1/2 tsp dried thyme (optional)

Instructions
- In a bowl, mix ground beef, breadcrumbs, egg, Worcestershire, onion powder, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Shape into 4 oval patties.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat and sear patties for 3–4 minutes per side until browned (they will finish cooking in the gravy). Remove and set aside.
- In the same skillet, melt butter and sauté onions and mushrooms until softened.
- Stir in flour and cook for 1 minute to form a roux.
- Slowly pour in beef broth while stirring, then add Worcestershire and thyme. Simmer until slightly thickened.
- Return patties to the skillet, spoon gravy over top, cover, and simmer 10–15 minutes or until steaks are cooked through.
- Serve hot with mashed potatoes, rice, or noodles.
Notes
- Use ground turkey for a lighter version.
- Add a splash of heavy cream for an extra-rich gravy.
- Great for meal prep—reheats very well.
