Description

Sticky Garlic Chicken Noodles is a flavorful Asian-inspired dish made with tender chicken, garlic, soy sauce, and noodles coated in a sticky, savory-sweet sauce.


Ingredients

  • 200g egg noodles
  • 2 chicken breasts, sliced thinly
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp oyster sauce
  • 1 tbsp hoisin sauce
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • 1 tbsp rice vinegar
  • 1 tbsp sesame oil
  • 1 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 1 tsp chili flakes (optional)
  • 2 spring onions, chopped
  • 1 tbsp toasted sesame seeds
  • Salt and pepper, to taste


Instructions

  1. Cook the egg noodles according to package instructions, drain, and set aside.
  2. Heat vegetable oil in a wok or large pan over medium-high heat.
  3. Add the sliced chicken, season with salt and pepper, and stir-fry until golden and cooked through.
  4. Add minced garlic and cook for 1 minute until fragrant.
  5. In a small bowl, mix soy sauce, oyster sauce, hoisin sauce, honey, rice vinegar, and sesame oil.
  6. Pour the sauce mixture into the pan with the chicken and stir until sticky and well-coated.
  7. Add the cooked noodles and toss until everything is evenly coated with the sauce.
  8. Sprinkle with chopped spring onions, sesame seeds, and chili flakes if using.
  9. Serve hot and enjoy.

Notes

  • You can substitute chicken with shrimp, beef, or tofu for variation.
  • Adjust the level of honey for more or less sweetness.
  • For extra heat, add more chili flakes or fresh red chilies.
