Sticky Garlic Chicken Noodles is a flavorful Asian-inspired dish made with tender chicken, garlic, soy sauce, and noodles coated in a sticky, savory-sweet sauce.
Ingredients
- 200g egg noodles
- 2 chicken breasts, sliced thinly
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 2 tbsp oyster sauce
- 1 tbsp hoisin sauce
- 1 tbsp honey
- 1 tbsp rice vinegar
- 1 tbsp sesame oil
- 1 tbsp vegetable oil
- 1 tsp chili flakes (optional)
- 2 spring onions, chopped
- 1 tbsp toasted sesame seeds
- Salt and pepper, to taste
Instructions
- Cook the egg noodles according to package instructions, drain, and set aside.
- Heat vegetable oil in a wok or large pan over medium-high heat.
- Add the sliced chicken, season with salt and pepper, and stir-fry until golden and cooked through.
- Add minced garlic and cook for 1 minute until fragrant.
- In a small bowl, mix soy sauce, oyster sauce, hoisin sauce, honey, rice vinegar, and sesame oil.
- Pour the sauce mixture into the pan with the chicken and stir until sticky and well-coated.
- Add the cooked noodles and toss until everything is evenly coated with the sauce.
- Sprinkle with chopped spring onions, sesame seeds, and chili flakes if using.
- Serve hot and enjoy.
Notes
- You can substitute chicken with shrimp, beef, or tofu for variation.
- Adjust the level of honey for more or less sweetness.
- For extra heat, add more chili flakes or fresh red chilies.
