Ingredients

  • 2 cups cold milk
  • 1 box (3.4 oz) instant vanilla pudding mix
  • 1 cup whipped cream or whipped topping
  • 2 bananas, sliced
  • 1 1/2 cups fresh strawberries, sliced
  • 1 package vanilla wafers or digestive cookies
  • 2 tbsp powdered sugar (optional, for extra sweetness)
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • Extra whipped cream, for topping
  • Strawberry slices and banana slices, for garnish

Instructions

  1. In a large mixing bowl, whisk together cold milk and instant pudding mix until thickened.
  2. Fold in whipped cream and vanilla extract until smooth and creamy.
  3. In a serving dish, layer vanilla wafers at the bottom.
  4. Add a layer of banana slices and strawberries on top of the cookies.
  5. Spread a layer of the pudding mixture over the fruit.
  6. Repeat layers until ingredients are used up, finishing with pudding on top.
  7. Cover and refrigerate for at least 2–3 hours or overnight to allow flavors to blend.
  8. Before serving, top with extra whipped cream, strawberries, and bananas for garnish.

Notes

  • Chill overnight for the best flavor and texture.
  • You can substitute graham crackers or shortbread for the wafers.
