Description

Strawberry Banana Pudding is a creamy, fruity layered dessert made with fresh strawberries, bananas, vanilla pudding, and whipped topping—similar to classic banana pudding but with a bright berry twist.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups fresh strawberries, sliced
  • 2 bananas, sliced
  • 1 box (3.4 oz) instant vanilla pudding mix
  • 2 cups cold milk
  • 1 cup whipped topping
  • 2 cups vanilla wafer cookies or shortbread cookies
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract (optional)
  • Extra strawberries for garnish

Instructions

  1. Prepare vanilla pudding by whisking pudding mix with cold milk for 2 minutes until thickened.
  2. Fold whipped topping into the pudding mixture to create a light, creamy filling. Add vanilla extract if desired.
  3. In a serving dish, begin with a layer of cookies at the bottom.
  4. Add a layer of pudding, followed by strawberries and banana slices.
  5. Repeat layers until the dish is full, ending with pudding and extra fruit on top.
  6. Chill for at least 1 hour to soften the cookies and enhance flavor.

Notes

  • Use fresh, firm bananas to prevent browning.
  • Banana pudding mix can replace vanilla pudding for stronger banana flavor.
  • Add crushed cookies on top before serving for crunch.
