Description
Strawberry Cheesecake Dump Cake is an easy, irresistibly sweet dessert made by layering strawberry pie filling, a creamy cheesecake mixture, and cake mix—creating a warm, gooey, cobbler-like treat with minimal effort.
Ingredients
- 2 cans (21 oz each) strawberry pie filling
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1/3 cup sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 box vanilla or white cake mix
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- Fresh strawberries for topping (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
- Spread the strawberry pie filling evenly across the bottom of the dish.
- In a bowl, beat cream cheese, sugar, and vanilla until smooth.
- Dollop the cream cheese mixture over the strawberries and gently swirl.
- Sprinkle the dry cake mix evenly over the top—do not stir.
- Drizzle melted butter evenly over the cake mix, covering as much as possible.
- Bake for 40–45 minutes or until the top is golden and the filling is bubbling.
- Let cool slightly before serving. Top with fresh strawberries if desired.
Notes
- Serve warm with vanilla ice cream or whipped cream.
- Use lemon cake mix for a bright, fruity twist.
- For richer texture, add 1/2 cup chopped cream cheese chunks instead of mixing.
