Description

Strawberry Cheesecake Turnovers are flaky, golden pastries filled with creamy cheesecake and sweet strawberry filling—easy, delicious, and perfect for breakfast, dessert, or a special treat.

Ingredients

  • 1 sheet puff pastry, thawed
  • 4 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 2 tbsp sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup strawberry jam or pie filling
  • 1 egg (for egg wash)
  • Powdered sugar for dusting (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a bowl, mix cream cheese, sugar, and vanilla until smooth.
  3. Cut puff pastry into 4–6 squares depending on desired size.
  4. Place 1 tablespoon of cheesecake filling and 1 tablespoon of strawberry filling in the center of each square.
  5. Fold pastry over to form a triangle and crimp edges with a fork to seal.
  6. Brush tops with egg wash for golden color.
  7. Bake for 15–18 minutes or until puffed and golden brown.
  8. Cool slightly and dust with powdered sugar if desired.

Notes

  • Use fresh diced strawberries mixed with a little sugar for a fresher filling.
  • For extra sweetness, drizzle with a simple vanilla glaze.
  • Turnovers can be frozen before baking—just add a few extra minutes to the bake time.
