Ingredients
- 12 oz pasta (penne or rotini)
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 small onion, diced
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 cups crushed tomatoes
- 1 cup beef broth
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning
- 1/2 tsp paprika
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Cook pasta according to package instructions until al dente; drain and set aside.
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
- Add diced onion and cook until softened, about 3 minutes.
- Add garlic and cook for 30 seconds until fragrant.
- Add ground beef and cook until browned, breaking it up as it cooks; drain excess fat.
- Stir in crushed tomatoes, beef broth, Italian seasoning, paprika, salt, and pepper.
- Simmer for 10 minutes until sauce thickens slightly.
- Add cooked pasta to the skillet and toss to coat evenly.
- Remove from heat and sprinkle with Parmesan cheese.
- Garnish with parsley and serve warm.
