Description

The Triple Cheese Bacon Ranch Melt is an indulgent, gooey sandwich loaded with crispy bacon, three types of cheese, and creamy ranch dressing — grilled to golden perfection for the ultimate comfort food experience.

Ingredients

  • 8 slices thick-cut bacon
  • 8 slices sandwich bread (sourdough or Texas toast recommended)
  • 4 tbsp butter, softened
  • 1/4 cup ranch dressing
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup shredded Monterey Jack or pepper jack cheese
  • Optional: 1/4 tsp garlic powder or chives for added flavor

Instructions

  1. In a large skillet, cook bacon over medium heat until crispy. Transfer to a paper towel-lined plate to drain.
  2. In a small bowl, mix all three cheeses together.
  3. Spread butter evenly on one side of each bread slice. Spread about 1 tablespoon of ranch dressing on the other side of half of the slices.
  4. Assemble sandwiches: place ranch side up, then layer shredded cheese, bacon, and more cheese before topping with another bread slice (butter side facing out).
  5. Heat a skillet or griddle over medium-low heat. Place sandwiches in the skillet and cook for 3–4 minutes per side, pressing gently with a spatula, until golden brown and cheese is melted.
  6. Repeat with remaining sandwiches. Slice in half and serve warm with extra ranch for dipping.

Notes

  • Use freshly grated cheese for the best melt and flavor.
  • Try adding sliced tomato, caramelized onions, or jalapeños for a twist.
  • Can be made in a panini press for even toasting.
  • For a crispier texture, cook on low heat to let the cheese melt fully before the bread browns.
